New find pushes Hassi Mouina gas field towards commerciality

StatoilHydro has made another gas discovery in the Hassi Mouina perimeter, with the Norwegian company suggesting the field – the first in which it is operator in Algeria – could be declared commercial by 2010 for first gas in 2013, provided there is an adequate pipeline system to transport it.
