New chair for AFC

Lagos-based development financier Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has appointed Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) deputy governor Joseph Nnanna as its new chairman, replacing Sarah Alade. Alade retired from the CBN on 22 March and has also stepped down from the AFC board. Nnanna has served as a consultant to the government of Nigeria, with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, and on the board of the International Monetary Fund.
