Nasser Sabah: Busy agenda in France and London

First deputy prime minister and defence minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah arrived in Paris on 28 April for talks with defence minister Florence Parly that evening, followed by President Emmanuel Macron the next day. Nasser Sabah’s delegation, which included under-secretary of defence Sheikh Ahmed Mansour Al-Sabah, went on to London on 29 April for talks with then defence minister Gavin Williamson – who was sacked two days later in a high-profile British political spat.
