Federal Vice President, prime minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum (MBR) hosted Indian premier Narendra Modi Modi on 11 February. In Dubai Modi held talks with MBR and delivered a keynote address at the World Government Summit (WGS) on the theme of technology for development. MBZ was also there; he and MBR held meetings with other visiting dignitaries on the sidelines of the WGS, including IMF managing director Christine Lagarde, French prime minister Edouard Philippe and Kyrgyzstan premier Sapar Isakov.
