Sharjah-born Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al-Thani has completed a major mountaineering challenge by scaling Mount Denali in Alaska in June. He is now among 350 mountaineers to have climbed the ‘Seven Summits’, the highest mountains on each of the seven continents. Sheikh Mohammed climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa) in October 2010, Mount Vinson (Antarctica) in December 2011, Mount Elbrus (Europe) in August 2012, Mount Kosciuszko (Australia) in December 2012, Mount Aconcagua (South America)in January 2013 and Mount Everest in May 2013.
