Ruler of Dubai Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum (MBR) and his son, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, were in France on 23 May for the Festival Mondial d’Endurance in Compiègne, which is sponsored by the Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival. Sixteen Emirati riders took part in the 160km title race, which was won in 7:35:33 by UAE rider Saif Ahmed Al-Mazrouei, with a French rider in second and another Emirati in third. Other royals competing included Sheikh Rashid Dalmook Al-Maktoum, Sheikh Hamed Bin Dalmook Al-Maktoum and Sheikh Hasher Bin Mohammad Thani Al-Maktoum.
