Kuwait: Vietnam refinery starts operations

The Nghi Son Refinery operated by a joint venture of PetroVietnam, Kuwait Petroleum International and Japanese firms Idemitsu Kosan and Mitsui Chemicals has officially started up, more than one year later than originally planned.According to a 11 December statement from Idemitsu Kosan, operations began at what is now Vietnam’s second refinery on 14 November, some five years after construction began.
