King Salman Bin Abdelaziz left Jeddah on 24 July for a private vacation in Morocco. The king was seen off by various governors and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS). He arrived in Tangier – which had spent weeks preparing for the visit – to be received by prime minister Saad Eddin El Othmani and Tangier governor Mohammed Yaqoubi. Moroccan media and Spanish news sources said Salman arrived with a hundreds-strong entourage; some 900 rooms were booked in Tangier and 400 cars rented.
