King Hamad, MBR: In Windsor

Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa and Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum (MBR) were in Britain to attend the Royal Windsor Horse Show in mid-May, watching with Queen Elizabeth II as their sons came joint first in the 120km international endurance race. Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad, who is married to MBR’s daughter, and his brother-in-law, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al-Maktoum, finished the course in 4:52:30 on 16 May at Windsor Great Park. “We wanted to make both fathers happy… by crossing the line together,” Sheikh Nasser, who is facing legal proceedings in Britain linked to his alleged involvement in torture
