British media reports said the emir’s half-brother Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad flew his fleet of expensive cars into London in August. The Daily Mail spotted the fleet – including a £1.8m ($2.4m) Bugatti Veyron, £600,000 Porsche 918 Spyder, a Ferrari F12TDF, and LeFerrari model, a Bugatti Veyron Vitesse Rembrandt and a £1.2m McLaren P1 – parked in Knightsbridge. Sheikh Khalid was thus contributing to what is called “London’s supercar season”.
