Kenya: Tullow calls halt to pilot production scheme

Having announced force majeure on the Kenya project and put its stake up for sale, Tullow Oil formally announced the expiry of the Early Oil Pilot Scheme (EOPS) contract on 2 June. The scheme, which trucked crude from storage tanks at the Ngamia- 8 site to Mombasa port, was suspended in December after heavy rains damaged the roads and has not been able to resume.
