Kenya: Tatu City solar system begins operating

A 936kW rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) facility mounted on an area of 5,700m2 at Dormans Coffee headquarters at Tatu City Industrial Park began operating on 21 March. The facility comprises 2,880 solar PV modules. While the plant utilises the roof space at Dormans Coffee headquarters, the power generated is supplied to Tatu City. The project was developed by Tatu City in partnership with Equator Energy, which installed, owns and operates the facility.
