Sharjah-based Dana Gas and its associated companies Crescent Petroleum and Pearl Petroleum Company have won a further legal victory in their long-running battle with the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). On 20 November, the UK High Court ruled that the KRG should pay the claimants $100m within 14 days. This is the enforcement of a decision taken by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) in October 2014 which the Kurdish authorities have failed to comply with until now.
