Iran may send Ukraine crash recorders to France for examination

A stalled investigation into the shooting down of a Ukraine International Airlines plane outside Tehran on 8 January appears to be moving forward, after Iran indicated it might be willing to send the badly-damaged flight recorders to France for examination. Flight PS752 was shot down by surface-to-air missiles after taking off from Imam Khomeini International Airport. Iranian officials say it was accidental, as the plane was mistaken for a cruise missile, leading to the deaths of all 176 passengers and crew.
