Denmark: Iranian separatists accused of spying for Riyadh

The Danish authorities have charged three members of the Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahwaz (ASMLA), a violent separatist movement in Iran, with spying on behalf of an unnamed Saudi intelligence service. The Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET) said it had launched an investigation in November 2018 to determine whether the individuals had condoned acts of terrorism or committed other criminal offences. Their alleged spying came to light during searches of their residences as part of that investigation.
