At least two tankers owned by National Iranian Tanker Company delivered crude oil to China in the past two months,, in a sign that some buyers are still willing to ignore United States sanctions. The Horse tanker delivered a 2.1m barrels cargo to Tianjin port in late May. It was followed by the Salina, which offloaded its 1m bbls cargo to the PetroChina-owned Jinxi Refining and Chemical Complex on 20 June. Several Iranian liquified petroleum gas (LPG) tankers are also believed to be on their way to China.
