Iran: Kazakh navy visit

Two ships from the Kazakhstan Naval Force docked in Anzali in late September, in the first such visit from the country. The Oral and Saryarka ships, under the command of Captain Niyaz Bekov, called in to the Caspian Sea port on 27 September and left three days later. It followed a visit by Iranian ships to Kazakhstan in April, in a series of goodwill visits among the countries bordering the Caspian Sea.
