Iran: Further signs of disruption to oil trade as US sanctions loom

Iranian imports and exports of refined products and condensates are coming under pressure ahead of the next round of United States sanctions being imposed on Iran in early November, according to a new report by energy market specialists S&P Global Platts.The US government says it wants to cut Iranian exports to zero, something Iran’s first vice president Eshaq Jahangiri described on 10 September as “baseless and inconsiderate”.
