UK-based explorer Impact Oil & Gas on 12 October announced the appointment of Siraj Ahmed as its chief executive with immediate effect. Robert Wilde, who has acted as interim chief executive since founder Mike Doherty moved to the position of non-executive chairman, will now revert to his role as chief financial officer and executive director. Ahmed joined the company in early 2014 as general counsel.
