| 1 minute read
The first to come, on 15 February, was Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed. He was followed the next day by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who brought with him a large delegation including four of his brothers and one representative, Crown Prince Hamdan, from Dubai. Then, on 17 February, it was the turn of Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad – the most interesting of the visits given the strained relations between Doha and Riyadh in 2014. Emir Tamim had already had a visit from the new Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Nayef (MBN) the week before.
