The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) announced on 24 March that it had awarded a $860,000 grant to Ghana’s Buipe Solar to finance a feasibility study for a 20MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) plant in northern Ghana. USTDA said Buipe Solar had selected US-based consultants WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff to conduct the feasibility study for a project that it said presented a US export potential of up to $17.4m in PV modules, inverters, racks, and engineering services.
