Gambia: New energy projects

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking a consultant to provide technical assistance for the Gambia Sustainable Energy Project. The €142m ($159m) project was launched in March with backing from the EIB, World Bank and European Union.The contract will include institutional support for the Ministry of Financial and Economic Affairs, as well as technical and economic activities such as feasibility studies, tariff studies, tender document preparation, evaluation of tenders, monitoring and supervision of construction, and market study support for grid integration.
