Eni to develop tar sands, biofuels in $3bn diversification

Italy’s Eni, already one of Congo-B’s two main operators, has announced plans to invest $3bn in 2008-11, diversifying into tar sands and biofuels and generating an expected equity production of 150m boe in the country.
