In late December, Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani was in Marrakech for talks with Morocco’s King Mohammed VI and Prince Moulay Rachid. Attending on the Qatari side were Tamim’s full brothers Sheikh Joaan and Sheikh Mohammed and a large delegation of ministers. Mohammed is involved in international affairs (officially ‘assistant director of the prime minister’s office for international relations’) and has an MA in public policy from the Kennedy School of Government (his father, Emir Sheikh Hamad, proudly attended the graduation).
