Emir Sheikh Tamim: Turkish strategic committee

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was in Doha for two days of meetings in early December; this follows Emir Sheikh Tamim’s visit to Istanbul in July. The first meeting of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee was held at the Emiri Diwan on 2 December under the co-chairmanship of Emir Sheikh Tamim and Erdogan; it was attended by senior Qatari officials including Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Thani and Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
