Emir Sheikh Tamim: Business as usual

Back from hunting in Kazakhstan, Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani has returned to his normal busy round of meetings and talks. On 17 October, Hamas politburo chief Khalid Mishal and his deputy Ismail Haniyeh, regular visitors to Doha, were hosted at the Emiri Diwan, where the emir reiterated Qatar’s firm support for the Palestinian cause and discussed the latest developments in Gaza.
