The value of orders and options placed at the UK’s Farnborough International Airshow, which ran from 11 to 15 July, reached $123.9bn over the course of the five-day trade fare. That included deals for 856 aircraft valued at $94bn, 1,407 engines worth $22.7bn and other consultancy and business deals worth $7.2bn. It is not clear how many of those orders involved Gulf countries and companies, but some sales have been revealed.
