EQUATORIAL GUINEA: White Rose raises stake

London-based start-up White Rose Energy Ventures has increased its stake in Block H by acquiring 11.25% from Nigeria’s Atlas Petroleum International. The company, which was set up by former BP executives with financial backing from the US First Reserve Corporation, entered the block in August, acquiring 17.5% from Australia’s Roc Oil and taking over as technical operator.
