Bid round to open in May

New oil minister Julien Nkoghe Bekale is to open the country’s tenth licensing round at a ceremony in Libreville on 5 May. The round will offer 42 deep-water blocks with the aim of tapping Gabon’s pre-salt potential (AE 174/22).
