Bahrain retains Farnborough to run air show

Farnborough International, the company that runs the biennial UK airshow, will continue to run the Bahrain International Airshow in the coming years. On 13 July, the British firm signed a contract with the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications to organise the next two editions of the Bahrain event, in 2018 and 2020.The 2016 version of the show, held in January, saw orders of more than $9bn.
