Bahrain: Alba closes $243m export credit financing

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has closed the latest element of finance for its brownfield Line 6 Expansion Project. Described as the first part of the second tranche of export credit agency (ECA)-covered facilities, it provides E204.5m ($243) to finance Line 6’s green anode plant, gas treatment centres, pot tending machines, anode bake furnace and related equipment.
