Ameera Al-Taweel: Alwaleed’s former wife remarries

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal’s ex-wife Ameera Al-Taweel married Emirati businessman Khalifa Bin Butti Al-Muhairi in early October in a lavish wedding at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte outside Paris. High-profile guests included US television personalities Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King. Ameera, Alwaleed’s fourth wife, split amicably from the prince in 2013 after eight years of marriage. She was known for her promotion of women driving in Saudi Arabia. Al-Muhairi is the founder and chairman of Abu Dhabi’s KBBO Group, which has investments in healthcare, money exchanges and retail.
