Algeria: Chinese to supply drilling rigs to ENTP

Sonatrach has awarded a contract to supply four drilling rigs to its Entreprise Nationale des Travaux Aux Puits (ENTP) subsidiary to Shandong Kerui Petroleum Equipment Company Ltd. Reports from Algiers said the Chinese company’s keen pricing should force Sonatrach’s traditional US and European suppliers to review their costings.
