Abu Dhabi adapts its policy to protect its investment in Yemen

These are nervous days in Abu Dhabi, where the leadership awaits any signs of progress from the Yemeni peace negotiations now under way in Sweden. The anxiety is reflected in press coverage within the UAE, where there is an emphasis on all that might go wrong in the talks and the evil-doings of the Houthis and Iran – and little sense of optimism that it might be possible to bring the human suffering of the war to an end.
