AEEP records irresistible rise of renewables, huge gap in other indicators

The Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP) marked its tenth anniversary at the Europe-Africa Business Forum, held in Abidjan on 27 November as a curtain-raiser for the African Union-European Summit later that week. Published since 2012, the AEEP reports – compiled for the AEEP Secretariat by Cross-border Information Ltd, this year with partner Kenergy Renewables – have provided a means for measuring the 2020 Political Targets agreed following the AU-EU Lisbon summit that created the AEEP in 2007.
