UAE: Khalifa’s staff retired

President of the UAE and ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan – who has been away from the public eye since his January 2014 stroke – reportedly issued an emiri decree on 9 May retiring two of his private staff. A statement on state news agency Wam said chairman of the private department of the president Mubarak Saad Mohammed Al-Ahbabi and assistant undersecretary of the private department of the president Ahmed Ali Mohammed Al-Shamsi would leave their positions
