Saudi princes check into Moscow

Saudi Arabia’s warmer relations with Russia have been underlined by the visits to Moscow of two senior princes, deputy defence minister Khalid Bin Salman (KBS) and Saudi Space Agency (SSA) director Sultan Bin Salman. KBS arrived on 24 April to attend the Conference on International Security organised by the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Defence, with an agenda including Syria and Iraq ‘after the defeat of Islamic State’, terrorist fighters’ return to their own countries, space weapons development and illegal migration.
