Saudi Arabia: Royal orders

King Salman Bin Abdelaziz issued a series of royal orders on 14 February, including the appointment of seven new members of the Shura Council. A Shura source told GSN the seven had replaced others who had taken jobs elsewhere over time. King Salman also appointed Abdulkarim Bin Abdelaziz Al-Essa as undersecretary for security affairs at Prince Mohammed Bin Nayef’s interior ministry, and named Mohammed Bin Hamad Al-Madhy as president of the General Organisation for Military Industries (MIC).
