Saudi Arabia: ACPRA co-founders sentenced

The co-founders of the Saudi Civil and Political Rights Association (ACPRA), Mohammed Al-Qahtani and Abdullah Al-Hamid, were sentenced on 9 March to ten and five years in prison, respectively, for charges including disobeying the ruler and inciting disorder. Travel bans equal to their prison terms will be applied on their release, and Al-Hamid must also serve the six remaining years of a previous jail term.
