Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani attended the final of the 27th Qatar ExxonMobil Open tennis championship on 5 January, held at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha. Also there to watch Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut beat Czech player Tomas Berdych in three sets were Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and prime minister and interior minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani. Sheikh Tamim had also made an appearance a day earlier to watch part of the semi-final game between Agut and world number one Novak Djokovic.
