The crisis between Qatar and its neighbours has revealed an old yet strongly-held policy dispute inside the ruling family, well-informed Arab sources have told GSN. The dispute focuses on Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamed Al-Thani and his brand of regional policies, such as hosting Egyptian Muslim Brothers and Hamas, the role of senior political advisor Azmi Bishara and the employment of Al-Ikhwan Al-Muslimeen (Muslim Brotherhood or MB) sympathisers to lead Al-Jazeera Satellite Channel.
