QATAR: Emir Sheikh Tamim’s busy first days


Alongside forming ministries and choosing advisers, Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani’s first days in office have seen a string of visiting dignitaries coming to pay their respects. On 27 June, he received the heads of diplomatic missions at the emiri diwan, where he also met Omani special envoy Sayyid Haitham Bin Tariq Al-Said, who came to convey the congratulations of Sultan Qaboos Bin Said Al-Said.
