Seeking to add lustre to the sultanate’s investor-friendly credentials and strengthen its social services, official agencies have unveiled a number of public/private partnership (PPP) opportunities for investors. These include a dialysis centre, secondary hospital and central laboratory planned by the Ministry of Health.Meanwhile the Capital Market Authority (CMA) has issued regulations to underpin the new state Health Insurance Scheme (Dhamani), which will involve private operators giving better coverage across the sultanate.
