Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has been forced into his second cabinet reshuffle in two months, after the latest resignation from government sparked by the long-running saga over Kuwait’s blacklisting by international sports organisations (GSN 1,018/3). Information minister and minister of state for youth affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah resigned on 7 February. He left after facing MPs in what the Kuwait Times described as a "ten-hour marathon grilling" in front of ten MPs.
