Crown Prince Salman talks up reform at Grand Prix

Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa was unusually talkative to reporters ahead of the controversial Bahrain Grand Prix, making comments about the ongoing unrest and his role in fixing it. Speaking to journalists on the eve of the 21 April race, the relatively moderate crown prince – who in March was put in charge of developing the executive’s institutions – said he saw his job as trying to reconcile civil rights and law and order.
