Aminex: New management team

East Africa pioneer Aminex has acquired a new management team through a merger with Canyon Oil & Gas. The all-share deal, which gives Aminex new production in Moldova, brings in two Morocco pioneers, Jay Bhattacherjee of Longreach Oil and Gas Ventures and Philip Thompson of San Leon Energy. Bhattacherjee will be the new chief executive, while Thompson will be chief operating officer.
