UAE: MBZ in Paris and Riyadh

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan (MBZ) was in Paris on 10 February for talks with French President François Hollande. In a statement, the French presidency – which referred to MBZ and Hollande as “les deux chefs d’Etat” (the two heads of state) – noted the “convergent point of views on regional and international crises”, and said the leaders had congratulated themselves on excellent bilateral relations, noting the strategic importance of Total’s recent winning of Abu Dhabi’s major concession.
