UAE: MBZ hosts Renzi

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi made an official visit to the UAE on 8 January, and was received in Al-Ain by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan (MBZ). The Italian leadership has made several visits to the region recently as it seeks investment; MBZ visited Renzi in Rome in October, and his predecessor Enrico Letta was in the UAE in February. MBZ and Renzi are said to have discussed ways to expand collaboration in both the government and private sectors and co-operation in energy and aerospace.
