UAE: Arabtec wins Saudi contracts worth $253m

Dubai’s Arabtec Holding (Arabtec) said on 22 February that its wholly owned subsidiary Abu-Dhabi-based Target Engineering Construction Company (TECC) had won contracts worth Dh930m ($253m) from Saudi Aramco, mostly in the refining sector. The contracts cover seven projects, the biggest of which are to improve the liquefied petroleum drain at Aramco’s main oil refinery at Abqaiq (worth Dh272m); to improve the quality of liquefied gas at Shadqam and Al-Othmania (Dh235m); and to expand liquefied gas production facilities at Yanbu refinery (Dh137m), according to an Arabtec statement.
