UAE: Chinese visit

Foreign minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan held talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on 14 February in Abu Dhabi. Wang, who also met Dubai ruler Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum while in the UAE, said Beijing was looking to co-operate with the UAE on industrial projects including high-speed rail, nuclear power and telecommunications.His visit came just a week after UAE minister of state Sultan Bin Ahmed Sultan Al-Jaber spent two days in China, exploring opportunities for investment in sectors including energy, technology, infrastructure, transport and logistics.
